Keep your spirits high and your body fat low with twelve workouts to keep you fit during the holidays. Improve your fitness level with these workouts designed by fitness specialists here at the Center. Visit our blog often to get the latest workout.
Warm-Up: Walk on treadmill or track with dumbbells held in rack position (in front of shoulders) for 5-10 minutes
Santa’s High Intensity Interval Training, 3 rounds: Work for 40 seconds, and rest for 20 seconds
Low bearcrawls with weight balanced on small of back
High jump or high knees to push-up
Lateral shuffles with band around top of knees and ankles
Battle Rope slams
Russian twist ball slams to each side
One push-up, right side plank, one push-up, left side plank
Cool Down: Walk for 5 minutes on the track and perform chest, shoulder, calf, leg stretches.
