May 7 -13 is Medical Fitness Week. During this week, Loyola Center for Fitness will host the MOVE150 program, which encourages our members to reach 150 minutes of physical activity utilizing a variety of equipment, classes and programs we offer.
An active lifestyle has several benefits. Healthy individuals reduce the risk of diseases such as, diabetes, heart disease, several types of cancer, asthma and osteoporosis. In addition, an active lifestyle supports your joint stability, flexibility and strength. If you have a medical condition or need help to be more active, we have programs such as our Next Steps™ fitness programs to encourage, inform and transform your life.
