Proper nutrition is an essential foundation for any athlete looking to enhance physical performance, increase recovery time and improve overall health and well-being. Incorporating adequate nutrition into daily exercise routines can help your athletes get the most out of their training. Through this nutrition workshop, coaches and athletes will gain more knowledge, along with tips and techniques, to ensure their athletes’ nutritional needs are being met.
Nutrition Lecture and Food Demonstration: In this one-hour, interactive workshop — led by our registered dietitian — athletes, coaches and parents will learn the importance of nutrition as well as the impact it has on performance. During the food demonstration, athletes will be provided with recipes and learn how to make simple, nutritious snacks to help fuel their daily energy needs.
